How do I get started with Nomos Insights?

You can schedule a free 30-minute consultation through our website or submit a matter inquiry through our intake form. We will review your submission and follow up within one business day.

What does the initial consultation cover?

The initial consultation is a free 30-minute conversation where we discuss your legal needs, evaluate how we can help, and outline the next steps. No engagement or commitment is required.

How are fees structured?

Fee arrangements are tailored to each matter and set forth in the engagement letter. We offer hourly, flat fee, contingency, and hybrid billing depending on the matter type. All fee structures are discussed and agreed upon before work begins.

What is the engagement letter?

The engagement letter is a written agreement that establishes the attorney-client relationship. It outlines the scope of representation, fee arrangements, and terms of engagement. We send it electronically via DocuSign for convenient signing.

What is the Client Portal?

The Client Portal is a secure online platform where you can view your matter status, upload and access documents, communicate with your attorney, complete questionnaires, view invoices, and schedule consultations.

How do I access the Client Portal?

After signing the engagement letter, you will receive an email with a link to set your password and access the portal. You can log in at any time through our website.

What practice areas does Nomos Insights cover?

We handle renewable energy transactions, commercial real estate, entity formation, trust and estate planning, commercial transactions, employer law, business succession, and agricultural law. All services are focused on transactional work in Illinois.

How does Nomos Insights use AI?

We use AI tools to assist with document analysis, research, and drafting under attorney supervision. All AI-generated work is reviewed by a licensed attorney before being communicated to clients. We never send sensitive personal information to AI systems. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.

How long does a typical matter take?

Timelines vary by matter type. Simple entity formations may take one to two weeks. Real estate transactions typically follow the contract timeline. Estate plans and complex transactions may take several weeks to months depending on scope and complexity.

Can I pay invoices online?

Yes. Invoices include a secure payment link that allows you to pay online via credit card. You can also view and pay invoices through the Client Portal.

Is my information kept confidential?

Absolutely. All client information is protected under attorney-client privilege and Illinois Rule of Professional Conduct 1.6. We use enterprise-grade encryption, row-level database security, and strict data handling practices. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
